My current Transportation
My favorite ride is this 1987 Plymouth Voyager. As of April, 2000,
it has 211,000 miles on it.
(May 12th, it has 212,810 miles) (6/17/2001 it has 217,500, still no
repairs!)
I bought it in 1992 with 78,000 miles on it.
The engine (3.0 liter V-6) , transmission (3 spd. auto) or driveline
has never had any major repairs.
The Valve cover and oil pan gaskets are Factory Original!
The ONLY repairs I have done to it include a new timing belt and water
pump, at 170,000 and a fuel pump, and the
radiator last fall at 205,000. I also replaced all the brake
hoses as they looked bad. I have removed the seats, and use it as a truck,
carrying all my tools and home repair stuff. It has problems,
and is leaking everywhere, but it refuses to die.
